What a colourful collection of birds. Can you see all these birds in Chicago? We have sparrows, and I think some types of robyn here in New Zealand - but none of the others. I will ask the children at Manaia Kindergarten about the birds they see here in Whangarei.
I loved the different types of eggs the birds laid in your story - quite different from the regular chicken's egg.
