Counting Books...

We are learning to count in different languages, but this is a fun book on how to count in English. Read and enjoy:

What great stories - I will share these with the children at mat time tomorrow. We have lots of children interested in numbers and writing numbers at the moment. I wonder if you would like how to count to ten in maori - perhaps we should make a movie for you...

Hello Manaia Kindergarten,
We would LOVE for you to share counting in Maori with us. A movie would be GREAT! We hope to see it on a blog we love soon! ;-)

Hi Mrs. Cassidy,
Yes, the Looky Books are great! We like that we can read them online and order them for our classroom or home as well. If you come across ones you think we'd enjoy, please feel free to let us know.

Thanks for sharing the website for Looky Books. It is great. A counting book I just read with a 2nd grade friend is Ten Apples Up On Top by Dr. Suess. Have you ever balanced an apple on your head? Could you do 10 apples?
