Today we started our Sea Life Unit. We brainstormed things we think we know about fish. We thought about what fish CAN do and what fish HAVE. As we learn more about fish, we may have to change some of the things on our charts. We used Kidspiration to make the following charts about fish:

Love your idea for the fact web - what fish have and what they can do. Kids have more ideas than we expect, sometimes. Great lesson to kick off a fun unit. Thanks for sharing this. How long do you spend on a unit?

Thanks for sharing. Typically we spend about a month and half (or more) on this unit. The kids really get involved and "into" it. Stay tuned to see more of what we do. (Don't want to tip my hand to the kids yet!) ;-)
