Today we had to say goodbye to our friend Samantha. She is moving and will be going to a new school soon. We will miss her dearly! It has been so nice to have her in our class. We took a few pictures today. It's so hard to say goodbye to good friends. When we had our last No-Cook Night, Samantha shared that she can make funny faces. We thought it might make a sad day more fun if we could have some good laughs.We'll miss you Samantha! We hope you have fun at your new school. We know you'll make lots of new friends....but don't forget us!

Hello Mrs. Blakely and boys and girls,
I just finished watching three videos on your class blog. My favorite was your farewell to Samantha. You all looked like you were going to the dentist! Is that how much it hurts when a friend moves away? I know you are sad about saying goodbye to a friend, but I just want you to know that you now have 11 new friends in Connecticut. (counting me makes 12) Can kindergarteners count to twelve? :-)
